Installing Ethereal

On your Android phone, tablet or Google TV: open the Google Play listing and install. That's it.
From a computer: open the Google Play listing in your browser, sign in with the same Google account, and choose Install. Ethereal lands on your device.
Updates reach you automatically through Google Play.
On iPhone: open the App Store listing and install. Updates arrive through the App Store.

How do I unlock all the worlds?

Ethereal includes free worlds (Ripples, Solar, Nebula, Starlines, Trails, Bloom, and Frost), and Nightstand mode is free too. The rest of the gallery unlocks with Ethereal Pro, a one-time purchase through Google Play or the App Store, priced in your local currency. Ethereal is on Google Play and the App Store: install in one tap from the Google Play listing or the App Store listing.

I bought Pro and it shows locked

Open Ethereal, go to Settings and tap Restore purchase, while signed into the store account that bought it: the Google account on Android, the Apple Account on iPhone. Pro is a one-time purchase tied to that store account, not to a device, so it comes back after a reinstall or on a new phone. On a Google TV signed into the same Google account, Pro unlocks there too.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by the store you bought Ethereal Pro from, under its own policy: Google Play refunds or Apple refunds. If a purchase is refunded, the Pro worlds lock again. We never see your payment details, so we cannot issue one ourselves.

What devices are supported?

Android 8.0 and newer, on phones, tablets and Google TV. On iPhone, Ethereal needs iOS 16 or newer. Every world ships inside the app.

I can't hear the worlds

Every world has a sound toggle (world voices, rain, or off) on the world screen and on the nightstand toolbar. Check it, then your media volume.

Casting: the TV does not appear, or nothing shows on it

Your phone and the Chromecast or Google TV need to be on the same Wi-Fi network.
Tap the cast button on Ethereal's home screen and pick your TV. You can switch worlds, place the clock and change the sound from the phone, and if you disconnect the TV keeps glowing.
On a Google TV you can skip casting altogether: install Ethereal on the TV from Google Play and it runs there natively.

iPhone asks whether Ethereal may find devices on your local network

Allow it. That is how Ethereal finds your Chromecast, and casting will not work without it. If you said no, turn it back on in iOS Settings under Ethereal.

Where is my data, and what happens if I uninstall?

Ethereal has no accounts and nothing to sign in to. Your settings and the record that Pro is unlocked live on your device, and uninstalling removes them. Your Pro purchase stays with your store account and comes back with Restore purchase. The privacy page has the detail.
